If you are making long road trips, a trucker radio can sometimes be a handy thing to have with you in your vehicle. Most truckers have a trucker radio in their trucks so that they can talk to other truckers as well as their personal dispatch.

A trucker radio is something that goes into either a vehicle or a truck and allows anyone to talk to other people that have them. With cell phones being as popular as they are, most people see no need in a trucker radio.

This is not something that you should rely too heavily on though. Cell phones are great devices, but they don't work every where that you may need them to. By having a trucker radio, you can stay connected to everyone without having to worry about disconnections.
