Putnam Forced to Lay Off Trucking Jobs

trucking jobs
In the past few weeks, Putnam Trucking on Maxahala Avenue in Zanesville was forced to lay off 12 employees. The economy is causing major disorder on trucking industries throughout the nation. Putnam is lucky they only had to lay off the little number of employees they did, because other bigger companies across the United Stats have suffered more and have had to make bigger layoffs. The Putnam company is now down to 40 employees compared to the 52 they had early in the year. Companies are all having to make modifications to trucking jobs due to the huge slow-down caused by the economy. The Putnam company is debt free and are expected to get back up on their feet in 2010.
