Trucker News From John Wood Community College

John Wood Community College's Truck Driver Training program held an open house in Quincy, IL on Monday, January 5th. The program publicized that they now offer hastened 6-week option, so students can receive training in a short period of time and get into the workforce quicker. However, they still offer the usual 11-week program as well. The next session of classes begin on January 12th. They are still accepting applications for this course. During the open house, Don Hess, director of transportation, and Kassie Daly, director of admissions, presented information about registration and financial aid, admission requirements, and future opportunities in the trucking industry.
